Ms. Tamara Cirgic, Programme Manager, Forum MNE, says main problem in the region, including in Montenegro, is that young people do not have the opportunity to meet and interact with other young people from the region, on any educational or other topics.

There is a need for more regional initiatives, and to put the emphasis on partnerships, so that young people get the opportunity to meet with their peers from their region. Particularly, young people who have never been in another country. We need to provide opportunity for them to get to learn about the culture of other countries and to see that it is not a taboo, not much different from them.

Local self-governments should have strategies, youth employment plans, and local youth development policies.
