The best regional effort that has resisted the time is Balkan Investigative Regional Network (BIRN). Through BIRN's experience we understand the need for each other's experience. Today, more than 30% of the population in the region chooses to get information through online sources. This is a good opportunity to create regional media.

Co-operation between the media/journalists, and information provided in the respective media of our countries about the recent developments has influenced not only politics, but also the media, media coverage, and how do we find ways/means to address each and every problem that countries have been facing.

Media co-operation in the region today is so natural that it should continue to happen.

As journalists come together against corruption and authoritarianism, they should also come together against nationalism, against the nationalist rhetoric, and to definitely put an end to subjectivism. 

We need to create common markets, without discrimination, under equal conditions, and create an enabling environment for investments.
