THE BALKAN FORUM PROMOTES REGIONAL DIALOGUE, PARTNERSHIP AND COLLABORATION IN EDUCATION, ENERGY, TOURISM, LABOR MARKET, AND EU/NATO INTEGRATION.

In cooperation with political, business, media, diaspora, academia, youth and civil society actors we are: identifying opportunities for collaborative action, connecting diverse initiatives and stakeholders to maximize impact, fostering experimentation and innovation, amplifying progressive voices.

In partnership with:

1. Civil society actors in the Balkans.

- we are working towards assuming greater responsibility for monitoring Berlin Process agendas and holding our governments accountable for implementing recommendations from the Berlin Process Summits and meeting EU integration criteria;

joint efforts with our partners in Greece, Bulgaria, Montenegro, North Macedonia, and Romania, are resulting in enhanced relationship between civil society actors, media, academia, and youth in the Balkan region.

2. Diaspora. We are building inter-diaspora relationship and encouraging collaborative action with the aim of advancing democratic and socio-economic development of the region.

3. Media.

- we are promoting regional cooperation of media and cover- age on successful regional economic cooperation models;

- extending our work to build capacity of young journalists in the Balkans, and co-productions that tackle fake news, hate speech, disinformation, nationalism, and corruption.

4. Young people.

- we are providing an opportunity to young people to contribute to public discourse on education, energy, tourism, labor market/human capital, issues affecting youth, cross-border cooperation, media (including media ownership, influence, media literacy, fake news and propaganda), nationalist rhetoric, Euro-Atlantic integration, social cohesion;

- building capacity of young people with the aim to enhance their future employment prospects, and build relationships between them and other actors in the region;

- working to enhance regional dialogue and cooperation of youth.
